MEN’S HEALTH AWARENESS MONTH: DAY 6 – Get More Rest
We get so caught up with “looking good,”sometimes we forget the “living well” part of our lives. Yes, a suit looks good on us, but if we don’t take care of ourselves the next could be the one we are wearing in a casket. Perhaps that is a bit extreme, but our health is something that we should not neglect.
Sleep: the one thing most of us love to do is actually good for you. More than just a reason to be lazy on a rainy day, sleep has many health benefits: it improves memory, reduces inflammation and muscle fatigue, and it even extends your life span. So with that said, feel free to hit the snooze button once in a while.
